Your account and access

Use an email address you control. Keep sign-in links and circle access codes private, and do not use another person’s account or invitation without permission. Email sign-in links are temporary; a fresh link can restore access to your account.

Circle invitations grant access to a particular community. A circle owner or operator can revoke access. Display names are chosen by members and are not verified identities.

What you write and share

You remain responsible for the material you submit and for having permission to share it. Expand does not claim ownership of your journal or posts. Operating the service requires storing and displaying the content you submit in the places you choose: account notes in your notebook, and circle posts and replies to the circle’s members.

Do not share another person’s private details without permission. Do not threaten, harass, impersonate others, send spam, distribute unlawful material or attempt to bypass account and circle access controls. Members may disagree about interpretations; discussion should remain respectful.

Members can copy or screenshot content they can see. An invitation-only circle is not a promise that another member will keep a post confidential.

Practice and research claims

Expand supports exploration and recordkeeping. It does not guarantee improved extrasensory abilities, enlightenment or a particular result. Points, streaks, completed lessons and favorable practice scores are not scientific proof of an ability.

Personal exercises are not medical, mental-health, legal or financial advice. A future formal study would need its own information, consent and protocol; ordinary app use does not automatically enroll you in research.

Pilot availability and costs

The current pilot is free to use, with no card required. A separate Stripe checkout accepts optional, one-time support of $1–$500 USD, with $5 suggested. This is not a subscription or a tax-deductible charitable donation. Support does not unlock features, alter research results or guarantee an outcome. Review your chosen amount before paying.

Features can change during the pilot, and interruptions or limits may prevent saving or syncing. Keep an export of writing that matters to you. Check sync status before assuming a record is available on another device.

Privacy, leaving and policy details

The Privacy Policy draft explains account storage and sharing. Signing out ends access in the app but is not the same as deleting hosted records or clearing browser data.

A public account-deletion contact route, retention schedule, formal operator identity and jurisdiction-specific terms have not yet been finalized. This draft does not invent those details or waive rights that may apply to you. The date above identifies this version; material changes should be made clear before they apply.
